Nature's Gifts
The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, in collaboration with various partner organisations, continues to promote a wide range of biodiversity-related programmes to the public through the Hong Kong Biodiversity Information Hub. The theme for 2026 is "Nature's Gifts".
Nature selflessly nurtures all living things—from every blade of grass and blooming flower to humanity itself—bestowing upon us its boundless blessings. In Hong Kong, despite our bustling urban heartbeat, we are blessed with rich biodiversity: a vibrant array of flora and fauna that shapes captivating natural landscapes, offers joyful outdoor experiences, and provides the essential food, clean air, and fresh water that sustain life. Nature is not only the cradle of plants and animals; it is the very foundation of human survival and prosperity. With hearts full of gratitude, let us protect nature, give back to nature, and cherish these precious gifts- ensuring they thrive and flourish for generations to come.
